About the Role
Join a stable, privately owned manufacturing team in Rochester Hills as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Your mission: keep production equipment running safely and efficiently by diagnosing issues, completing preventive work, and supporting continuous operations.
A Day in the Life
- Start with scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and quickly respond to breakdowns on the production floor.
- Repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Review equipment manuals, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.
- Assist with new equipment installations and process improvements.
- Support the safe, continuous operation of manufacturing equipment throughout the shift.
What You Bring
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven skill in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagnose issues, and solve problems independently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
- Enjoyment of practical, hands-on work and figuring out how things operate.
