Litigation Attorney - Personal Injury (REMOTE)

We are seeking a professional and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our firm and play an integral role on our growing litigation team. Responsibilities:

· Direct legal decisions throughout all phases of litigation process

· Understand the applicability of laws and statutes to the potential recovery of each case

· Communicate with clients and medical providers to ensure the highest quality medical care for clients

· Negotiate personal injury settlements

· Depose parties and fact and expert witnesses

· Aggressively pursue advantageous litigation tactics for the advancement of settlement position or trial

· Draft and argue motions

· Attend mediation

· Make court appearances on behalf of the firm

· Prepare for and attend trial as 1st or 2nd chair as appropriate

Qualifications & Skills:

· Licensed to practice law in State of Texas

· 3 to 5 years of litigation and trial experience in Texas personal injury cases

· 1st Chair Experience (preferred), 2nd Chair Experience (required)

· Experience handling contested motions

· Experience taking and defending depositions of parties and experts

· Experience at mediation in personal injury cases

· Willing to work a pre -litigation caseload while building up a full litigation docket

· Computer literate and familiar with document drafting and e-filing

· Light travel throughout Texas

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Efficient and effective with overall time management

· Determined to learn and adapt in a high-paced atmosphere

· Able to multi-task and handle a high-volume litigation docket

· Detail oriented, strategic thinker, and aggressive advocate

· Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred, but not required

Compensation –

· Base Salary with Bonuses: $90,000–$110,000 annually base salary plus bonuses paid quarterly based on performance

Dallas- Remote (Training in Office)
