A Machine Operator at Acme Corrugated Box is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used in the production of corrugated cardboard boxes. The operator ensures that products are manufactured safely, efficiently,and according to customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery used to manufacture, cut, fold, print, and assemble corrugated boxes.
- Set up machines according to production orders, job specifications, and required dimensions.
- Load raw materials and ensure materials are properly fed into the equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality,accuracy, and defects.
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain proper operation and product quality.
- Monitor production output and meet daily production goals.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions,safety hazards, or production issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Complete production paperwork andmaintain accurate records as required.
- Work with team members and supervisors to minimize downtime and reduce material waste.
