Johnson Service Group (JSG) is hiring 4 Project Managers (one per location) to support projects in:

  • Carlisle, PA
  • Tulare, CA
  • Spencer, WI
  • Melrose, MN

Drive high-impact greenfield and brownfield food manufacturing projects from early planning through preconstruction and execution. If you’re a hands-on project manager who can align stakeholders, de-risk scope, and lead procurement and project controls in fast-moving industrial environments, this contract role offers meaningful ownership and visibility across multiple large initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead contracting strategy development aligned to project goals
  • Build RFPs, run bid processes, lead bid meetings, evaluate bids, and recommend awards
  • Review contracts, identify risk, recommend terms, and support contractor performance and cost reporting
  • Support negotiations with owners and engineer/contractor teams
  • Act as day-to-day client point of contact and coordinate engineering services delivery
  • Guide delivery method selection and manage bridging packages (up to ~30% design) for Design-Build efforts
  • Partner with estimating resources to validate scope, reconcile bids vs. estimates, and support GMP negotiations
  • Oversee schedule strategy and support project controls processes, reporting, and tool selection
  • Provide executive-level reporting on KPIs, risks, and project status

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Food & Beverage experience required must have cheese or dairy experience
  • Ability to travel ~25% to 75% (as needed)
