We are actively recruiting for upcoming General Laborer opportunities in Roscoe, IL. Openings regularly become available, and qualified candidates may be hired and onboarded in advance so they are ready to start as soon as an assignment opens (typically next day).
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ideal candidates are comfortable performing manual labor throughout the day, working with a team, and completing tasks that involve lifting, digging, loading, unloading, and site cleanup.
Please note: This is a labor-intensive position and may not be suitable for individuals seeking light-duty work.
Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Roscoe, IL
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (shifts may vary)
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Performing general manual labor tasks
- Lifting and moving materials
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Digging and refilling holes
- Mowing grass
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must have 6inch lace up work boots
- 0–4 years of prior related experience
Work Environment:
- Physical labor is a major component of the role
- Regular lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and repetitive movement throughout the workday
- Must be able to handle objects weighing up to 30 pounds for most of the workday
- Work is performed primarily outdoors and in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity
- Occasional exposure to dirt, mud, dust, noise, odors, chemicals, and other outdoor working conditions
- Occasional exposure to workplace hazards such as cuts, burns, and equipment-related risks
