Shipping Clerk: Fort Atkinson, WI
Our customer in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join their team. We're recruiting a Shipping Clerk to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing documentation, and ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities of theShipping Clerk
- Process shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate inventory locations and warehouse records.
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules and freight shipments.
- Receive, tag, and store finished goods in the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory accuracy through cycle counts and product transfers.
- Audit delivery receipts and shipping documentation.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, recycling partners, and internal teams.
- Support delivery, billing, filing, and administrative functions as needed.
- Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Shipping ClerkRequirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred; forklift certification required.
- Strong communication, organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Amtechtechnologyis a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in a warehouse environment.
- Must be dependable and willing to work overtimeorweekends as business needs require.
Pay forShipping Clerk:Starting at $20.00-$25.00/hour.
