Title: general Utility Associate
Location: Florence, KY
Job Description:
- The General Utility Associate helps the facility in several ways.
- They work with production to ensure production lines have materials, completes paperwork, maintain housekeeping, and can assist with quality checks so the team operates smoothly and safely.
- This position also helps ensure shipments are staged, loaded, and labeled correctly to ensure that the correct product goes out on time every shift.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with plant staff to provide a safe work environment.
- Responsible for starting and operating mixer/production line.
- Empty production line into pallets for WIP or finished goods.
- Keep count of inventory produced during shift.
- Helps keep track of actual downtime and cause.
- Ensures proper packaging materials are used for product type.
- Responsible for building pallets to keep up with product output.
- Unload/load trucks and stage products into correct location.
- Periodically inspect for quality issues. May be done visually or with tools.
- Keep the work area clean using 6S process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have 1 years' experience in Manufacturing environment
- General work experience in manufacturing or similar preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
