Location: Richardson, TX | Hourly Rate: $26.00 | Schedule: 1st Shift (6:30AM – 3:30PM)

Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a passion for technology and quality? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Test Operator to support a leading electronics manufacturer. Put your technical skills to work testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic products.

What you'll do

  • Set up and operate electronic test equipment and automated assembly systems.

  • Perform manual assembly, hand soldering, inspections, and product repairs.

  • Conduct electronic and functional testing using diagnostic programs.

  • Troubleshoot component-level defects and communicate issues to team leaders.

  • Read schematics and assembly drawings to verify product specifications.

  • Perform machine setups, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance.

  • Follow quality standards and adapt to changing production priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in electronics assembly, testing, inspection, or repair.

  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic components and identify defects.

  • Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, soldering standards, and quality procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.

  • Physical requirements: Work in a manufacturing environment involving repetitive motions, sitting or standing, use of tools, material handling, and occasional heavy lifting.

Preferred:

  • Experience with the Linux operating system.

  • Familiarity with automated test equipment and diagnostic systems.

Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
