Senior Lab Operations Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform and document purification, downstream processing, characterization, and final formulation of oligonucleotides using lab instruments such as HPLC and UV-VIS.
• Oversee production and production support duties to ensure quality of production and lab testing in compliance with SOPs, OSHA safety regulations, and cGMPs.
• Assist in platform development, scale-up activities, and troubleshooting within the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing group.
• Monitor lab supply inventory, generate purchase requisitions, input production data into SAP/LIMS, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Interface with internal groups to maintain equipment compliance, including maintenance, calibration, and documentation practices.
• Attend required training and participate in on-the-job training activities.
• Contribute to the design and organization of experiments; provide input to protocols, investigations, reports, and SOP generation.
• Support continuous improvement of lab procedures and evaluation of new products and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in laboratory operations or oligonucleotide manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and UV-VIS for purification and analysis.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to follow SOPs, OSHA safety regulations, and cGMP requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation practices.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP and LIMS for production data entry and tracking.
• Experience in platform development and scale-up within a regulated environment.
