Key Responsibilities
- Claim Management: Prepare, review, and submit clean electronic and paper claims to commercial and government insurances.
- Account Resolution: Research, appeal, and resolve denied, rejected, or underpaid claims promptly.
- Payment Posting: Accurately post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and write-offs.
- AR Management: Monitor aging accounts receivable reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
- Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with clinical staff and RCM leadership to optimize collection workflows and resolve billing discrepancies.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on medical billing or RCM experience (experience with NH Medicaid, Medicare, and major commercial payers is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software. Solid experience navigating Microsoft Excel for reporting.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a professional communication style.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; medical billing/coding certification (CPC, CBCS) is a plus.
