Position Overview

Our client, a leading manufacturer of construction products serving the civil infrastructure and construction industries, is seeking a Civil Sales Engineer to support continued growth in the DFW market.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with relationship development, engineering consultation, and market development.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical resource to civil engineering firms, municipalities, and public works departments. Responsibilities include promoting engineered products, supporting engineering specifications, introducing innovative infrastructure solutions, and developing strong industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote engineered products and provide project-specific technical solutions for stormwater management, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure applications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with civil engineering firms, municipalities, public works departments, and industry organizations to increase product awareness and market share.
• Work with engineers and public agencies to influence and improve product specifications, material selection, and acceptance of engineered infrastructure solutions.
• Serve as the technical liaison between consulting engineers, customers, sales teams, and operations to support project requirements and business development opportunities.
• Represent the organization at engineering conferences, trade shows, and professional association events.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of civil infrastructure, stormwater management, drainage systems, or related engineering applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel some overnight.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with waterworks or underground utility systems.
• Familiarity with specifications, municipal engineering standards, and public works projects.
• Background in technical sales, specification development, engineering support, or market development preferred
• Experience delivering technical presentations to engineering firms, municipalities, or industry organizations.
