Our client is seeking a results-driven Division Manager to oversee the financial performance and day-to-day operations of a division specializing in electrical, parking, and vehicle access control systems. This leadership role combines business development, revenue growth, project estimating, operational management, and cost control.
The ideal candidate brings a strong construction background, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to develop new business while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Profitability: Manage the division's overall revenue and profitability, monitor financial performance, control costs, and identify opportunities to improve margins.
Business Development: Generate new business, develop customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and secure new projects through effective estimating and proposal development.
Project & Operations Management: Oversee projects from initial scope and bidding through execution, billing, and final closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
Estimating & Cost Management: Review construction drawings and specifications, develop project estimates, analyze costs, and manage change orders and financial documentation.
Team & Resource Coordination: Coordinate field personnel, project engineers, CAD staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and administrative teams to support efficient project delivery.
Client & Contractor Relations: Serve as a key point of contact for customers and general contractors, conduct site visits, resolve issues, and maintain strong business relationships.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies, job site safety requirements, and applicable regulations while communicating performance and project updates to leadership.
5+ years of experience in construction, project management, estimating, or cost management, preferably in electrical, low-voltage, parking, or access control systems.
Demonstrated ability to develop business, manage customer relationships, and identify revenue growth opportunities.
Experience overseeing project budgets, costs, schedules, and financial performance.
Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, estimating, procurement, and project delivery.
Familiarity with electrical systems, concrete construction, trenching, underground boring, parking/access control systems, or gate operators.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, and Accubid.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
