Civil Construction Supervisor

Job Title: Civil Construction SupervisorLocation: Menomonie, WisconsinType: 12 month ContractCompensation: $70.00 - 75.00/hrWork Model: Onsite – onsiteResponsibilities • Verify contractor work complies with drawings, specifications, and codes. • Enforce inspection and test plan (ITP) requirements and hold points. • Document and complete owners’ inspections through our defined inspection program. • Escalate non-conformances, risks, and quality deficiencies. • Oversee underground utilities including electrical duct banks, piping, and gas lines. • Serve as interface between owner, contractors, engineering, and QA/QC. • Ensure safety compliance and environmental controls such as SWPPP. • Maintain inspection documentation and support turnover readiness. • Monitor trenching, bedding, and backfill operations. • Verify utility routing and separation distances. • Confirm testing of piping and gas systems. • Ensure accurate as-built documentation. • Track soil compaction and laboratory results. • May need to verify concrete test results meet specifications. • Escalate failed tests and ensure corrective actions.

Requirements • 7+ years of experience in heavy civil or industrial construction. • Experience with mass concrete and underground utilities is nice to have. • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports. • Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and construction sequencing.
