We are seeking a Senior Machine Vision Controls Engineer to design, develop, program, and troubleshoot machine vision and automation control systems for industrial equipment.
This position focuses on software development, machine vision applications, and controls integration while collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and project engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, program, and test machine vision and automation control solutions.
- Develop and troubleshoot vision applications using Cognex software platforms.
- Support PLC programming, control logic, and software integration.
- Develop and test software for new and existing automation equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment design and new product development.
- Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and system validation.
- Support equipment deployment and customer applications.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls programming, or system troubleshooting.
- Experience with machine vision systems, image formation, and vision programming.
- Knowledge of Cognex VisionPro and Vision Suite software.
- Understanding of PLC programming, ladder logic, and structured text.
- Familiarity with control system software development and integration.
- Experience with C++ and Visual Studio preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
