Seeking full or part time help in the warehouse of a commercial swimming pool company. This is full time, year-round employment. Objectives of this Role:
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency through collaboration with the warehouse team
- Engage in warehouse operations by following product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, warehouse cleaning, shipping and receiving, and ground maintenance
- Work with the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Complete daily operations, while assisting field technicians and organizing inventory and logistics
- Review and prepare parts for field technicians, space requirements and organization within the warehouse, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and service standards are met
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and deliver items for general maintenance as needed
- Meet regularly with warehouse lead to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity
- Transport products to customers and field staff when in need with Company vehicle
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication qualities
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff at a fast pace
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
- Basic math and Microsoft computing skills (EXCEL)
- Quickbooks knowledge a plus but not required
- Able to lift 100 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work without continual direction; problem solving skills
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Valid drivers license, good driving record with ability to obtain chauffeurs license
- Overtime and weekend shifts may be required on a seasonal basis
