Position Overview

AutomatedPower is seeking five dependable, detail-oriented Wiremen to join our team in Flowood, Mississippi.

This position focuses exclusively on wire preparation and wiring harness manufacturing, including cutting, stripping, and terminating electrical conductors. Wiremen play an important role in supporting our electrical production operations by ensuring wiring components are prepared accurately and consistently.

This opportunity is well-suited for individuals interested in entering the electrical industry, current electrical trade school students, electrician apprentices, or experienced electrical professionals seeking a new opportunity.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and cut electrical wire to specified lengths.
• Strip insulation from electrical conductors.
• Terminate electrical conductors (10 AWG and smaller).
• Manufacture and assemble wiring harnesses according to provided specifications.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the wire preparation process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established procedures and workplace safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Ability to perform precise, repetitive, hands-on tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required. Relevant backgrounds include:

• Electrical wireman or wiring harness manufacturing experience.
• Electrician apprenticeship experience.
• Residential, commercial, or industrial electrical experience.
• Enrollment in an electrical trade school or vocational training program.
• Familiarity with wire cutting, stripping, or termination techniques.

• Location: Fully on-site in Flowood, Mississippi.
• Standard Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:45 PM.
• Lunch Break: 45 minutes.

• Overtime: Paid overtime may be required depending on production needs.
