About the Opportunity
MCL Talent Partners is recruiting on behalf of a Birmingham-area client seeking motivated individuals for its sales and leadership development team.
Representatives begin in a client-facing sales role working directly with individuals and families. As they develop, they can choose to focus on building their own book of business or pursue a leadership path involving recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and team development.
No previous industry or management experience is required. The client provides structured training, one-on-one mentorship, licensing support, and ongoing professional development.
This can be a strong fit for someone who is competitive, coachable, comfortable working with people, and interested in long-term growth.
What You'll Do
Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and explain available benefit and protection options
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Manage appointments, follow-up, and daily sales activity
Participate in structured sales training and one-on-one coaching
Learn the systems and processes used to build and manage a client base
Develop recruiting, coaching, and team-development skills for those pursuing the leadership track
Two Career Paths
Sales Production Track
Focus on developing your individual client base, strengthening your sales skills, and growing personal production.
Leadership Management Track
Develop additional skills in recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and supporting representatives while working toward increased team responsibility.
You do not need previous management experience to pursue the leadership track. Advancement is based on development and performance.

Comfortable meeting and working with clients face-to-face
Interest in professional growth, sales, and/or developing others
Willingness to complete required state licensing
Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, management, recruiting, athletics, or other people-focused roles can be helpful but is not required.
Training Development

Compensation
Target first-year earnings: $47,600 - $100,000+, depending on individual production and performance.
