CNC-Blanking Programmer

Location: Rochester, NY area (Onsite, 1st Shift) Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000/year, DOE Job Type: Full-Time

Our client is a well-established, third-generation family-owned precision sheet metal fabrication and contract manufacturer, serving industries including telecommunications, computer/business machine, office equipment, medical, heavy transportation, voting equipment, electronics, warehouse management, and automotive. • Program multiple pieces of CNC equipment, including press brakes, laser turrets, and blanking equipment
• Build and run nests from customer models and prints
• Close NCMRs (Non-Conformance Material Reports) and work pre-production review action items
• Support the shop floor on programming questions and setup issues

• SolidWorks proficiency required
• Prior CNC programming experience
• A sheet metal fabrication background (machining-only experience will not be a fit)
• Experience with Amada VPSS 4iE Blank is a strong plus

1st shift. Overtime is possible but not guaranteed, including during periods of increased business need; occasional weekend work may be required based on business demand.
