Summary:
We are seeking an HVAC Controls Design Engineer to design building automation systems and support installation projects in collaboration with customers, sales teams and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC control systems, electrical drawings and system layouts.
- Review project scopes, mechanical drawings and customer requirements.
- Develop HVAC equipment sequences of operation and network architecture.
- Select control products and coordinate equipment orders.
- Provide technical support to installation teams.
- Prepare project documentation and O&M manuals.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure successful system installation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of technical education and relevant field experience.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) required.
- Familiarity with BACnet and LON protocols is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical troubleshooting and IT systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license and successful background check.
