Operations Coordinator – Manufacturing/Production Experience a big plus!
Allesco Industries, Inc. | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | $27/hour | onsite
As our Operations Coordinator, you'll report to the Operations Manager and support manufacturing at all five of our locations. You'll help production, the warehouse, receiving, shipping and purchasing work together. Your job is to keep materials flowing, orders on schedule and ERP data accurate so the plant can hit its throughput and on-time delivery goals.
What You'll Do
- Support daily production priorities: carry out the daily priorities set by the Operations Manager across production, the warehouse, shipping, purchasing support and special projects.
- Find shortages before they stop the line: track material shortages, open work orders, late purchase orders, past-due shipments and deadlines. Give clear status updates so production stays on schedule.
- Keep ERP data accurate: process and check ERP transactions and their supporting documents, so inventory counts, order status and material movement are right.
- Report on the operation: run and send standard manufacturing reports on time. These cover open orders, material shortages, shipments due, receiving discrepancies, performance analytics and contract tracking.
- Build reports people use: create and maintain Excel reports that pull together production, inventory and shipping data, using tables, lookups and links between workbooks.
- Coordinate across plants: follow up with production supervisors, warehouse leads, purchasing and shipping teams at all five locations to close open items.
- Keep inventory accurate: support cycle counts, research inventory discrepancies between the system and the floor, and document root causes and fixes.
- Keep shop-floor documents current: prepare and maintain SOPs, production logs, tracking sheets and operational records.
- Keep operations organized: maintain calendars, task lists, meeting notes and action-item logs for operational priorities.
