United Fire Protection Corporation, a leader in high-tech fire alarm and fire suppression systems in the New York Metro area, is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Fire Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain expertise in fire codes, life safety technology, and system integrationwhile building a rewarding career in the fire protection industry.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Learn and apply fire codes and life safety systems
- Manage technical projects from inception to completion
- Grow into a recognized leader in the fire protection industry
- Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions, establishing comprehensive project schedules in coordination with the team while identifying crucial timelines
- Diligently track project resources and progress, documenting any events impacting the schedule, scope, and overall efficiency; identify and pursue opportunities for project-specific change orders
What We’re Looking For:
- A high-energy, self-starter with a proven track record of achievement
- Strong skills in organization, communication, and writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT tools
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with fire alarms and/or sprinkler systems (preferred)
