Car Rental Sales Agent

Do you have experience in hospitality, hotel guest services, retail sales, or customer service? Budget Car and Truck Rental of Birmingham is looking for Rental Sales Agents who enjoy helping customers, recommending products, and delivering a great rental experience in a fast-paced evening environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close rental contracts while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with questions about charges, vehicle damage, directions, and other concerns.
• Recommend coverage options, vehicle upgrades, prepaid gas, and additional products to increase sales.
• Perform general office duties, including answering phones, photocopying, and maintaining a clean, professional workspace.
• Support fellow agents and other locations as needed.
• Clean vehicles by washing, vacuuming, gassing, and preparing them for rental.
• Occasionally shuttle rental vehicles to and from other locations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated work history tenure.
• Professional communication skills and problem-resolution experience.
• Proficiency with general office equipment, including fax machines, calculators, and photocopiers.
• Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents.
• Ability to pass a drug and background check.
