Bootleg Special is looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Bar Manager to lead our bar team and help elevate our beverage program.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and exceptional guest service.
- Lead, train, and develop bartenders and bar support staff.
- Manage bar inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost control.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor pour costs and beverage profitability.
- Develop and maintain cocktail menus, seasonal specials, and beverage offerings.
- Ensure proper execution of recipes, presentation standards, and responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage scheduling, staff performance, and overall team accountability.
- Work closely with restaurant management to improve operations and create an outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar management or senior bartending role.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and contemporary beverage trends.
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and beverage cost control.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold a team accountable.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
