Client : Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration : 12 months contract assignment
Location : Moline, IL, 61265
Shift : 1st shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Job description:
- Schedule production parts based on manufacturing requirements and production schedules.
- Schedule service parts to meet customer and service demands.
- Plan and schedule simple manufacturing processes with fewer capacity constraints, work centers, processes, and changeover complexities.
- Schedule material requirements in accordance with the John Deere Production System, including kanban’s, triggers, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and ensure achievement of production schedules.
- Develop line sequencing for production options as needed.
- Expedite production and purchased parts to prevent delays.
- Coordinate the availability of required parts from other John Deere departments.
- Coordinate and communicate the implementation of engineering and material changes.
- Assist the production department with manpower planning.
- Perform general administrative duties to support departmental operations.
- Assist in maintaining inventory integrity and accuracy.
- Support production and scrap reporting activities.
Responsibilities:
- Create, coordinate, and track shipments through SAP.
- Manage completed goods/items built and ready for shipping.
- Support service shipments.
- Serve as a key contact for shop floor issues.
- Track parts' estimated timelines and completion.
- Provide shipment tracking and status updates to buyers and internal stakeholders.
- Use Microsoft products such as Outlook and Teams.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills most important.
- SAP experience; training can be provided.
- Intermediate-level Excel experience.
Experience: 1–3 years.
Education: High school diploma minimum.
