Financial Analyst / Accountant

Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst / Accountant to support accounting operations, accounts payable, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting. This individual will work closely with purchasing, production, and accounting teams to investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and improve financial processes.

• Manage accounts payable and investigate invoice, purchasing, and receiving discrepancies.

• Reconcile inventory records and analyze material usage, leftover steel, and job allocations.

• Support fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure tracking, and equipment financing.

• Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and payroll backup.

• Develop Excel-based analytical tools and reports to improve inventory accuracy and financial visibility.

• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and accounting teams on process improvements.

• Experience in accounting, accounts payable, or inventory accounting.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables.

• Knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Accounting or Finance degree preferred; CPA candidates encouraged.

• Manufacturing, inventory management, and fixed asset experience are a plus.

• Familiarity with Trimble PowerFab or Viewpoint Vista is beneficial.

Construction industry experience is not required. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who can work independently and adapt to a variety of responsibilities.
