Part Time DSP

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Somerset County.

This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.

• Participate in games and academic activities, encouraging communication skills, listening to music, and engaging in activities he enjoys, such as car rides and trips to the park.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.

• Experience Preferred

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:00AM-4:00PM
Pay: 19-23/hr
Location: Warren, NJ 07059
Driving on shift: REQUIRED
