Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking experienced Injection
Molding Process Technicians to join their team on 1st and 2nd shifts. This is a hands-on opportunity for experienced technicians who can independently set up, troubleshoot, and support injection molding production.
Responsibilities- Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines
- Perform mold changes and job changeovers independently
- Troubleshoot processing and machine issues
- Make process adjustments within established parameters
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and process stability
- Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment
- Respond to machine alarms and production issues
- Support robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
- Complete required production and process documentation
- Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues
- Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements- Hands-on injection molding processing experience
- 5+ years of injection molding experience
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines
- Experience performing mold changes and machine setups independently
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and respond to production issues
- High school diploma or GED
- Plastic injection molding experience
- Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
Preferred:- Experience with robotics, automation, or auxiliary equipment
- Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience
- Scientific molding or process troubleshooting experience
- RJG/Master Molder or other plastics processing training
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems
Pay: $27 - $35.50 / hour W2 depending on shift and experience
