Our client seeks an attorney with 5+ years of experience in Personal Injury to handle plaintiff-side PI cases, managing pre-suit resolutions and litigation for auto and premises liability claims in a remote role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage a primarily pre-suit caseload involving auto accidents and premises liability cases.
Evaluate liability, damages, and case strategy while collaborating with case managers and support staff.
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and determine when cases should proceed into litigation.
Handle pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation.
Maintain client communication and provide guidance throughout the claims and litigation process.
Qualifications:
Active Oregon State Bar license in good standing (Washington license is a plus).
5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience.
Experience managing pre-suit and litigation caseloads from intake through resolution.
Strong experience with civil discovery, motion practice, pleadings, and depositions.
Experience handling auto and premises liability cases, including mediation and settlement negotiations.
