This role focuses on CNC programming, process development, and shop-floor support
for large-format machining operations.
The Manufacturing Engineer IV will:
Develop and verify CNC programs using
NX-CAM and other CAM software
.
Support multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and EDM.
Work with
VTLs, VBMs, gantry 5-axis machines, and turn/grind equipment
.
Provide CNC troubleshooting and operator support.
Support new and rebuilt machine startups.
Develop and implement Renishaw probing routines.
Support tooling and fixturing requirements.
Lead process improvements focused on
safety, quality, cost, and delivery
.
Work closely with engineering and shop-floor teams in a fast-paced environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
4+ years of graphical-based CAM CNC programming.
Siemens NX CAM preferred.
5-axis CNC programming experience.
Experience with macro routines, Renishaw probing, and variable-based programming.
Hands-on machinist experience.
Experience with complex setups and first-piece verification.
Experience with large-format equipment up to 2.5 meters.
Experience machining nickel-based superalloys.
Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, and Siemens controls.
Experience with Vericut or similar CNC verification software.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, shop math, and drawing interpretation skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
High-level machine control programming.
Closed Loop Machining (CLM).
Aerospace or Heavy Duty Gas Turbine manufacturing experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
