Shipping & Packaging Associate

Wage: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Schedule:7:00am to 3:30pm

What You’ll Do:
- Assemble, package, and ship products in accordance with daily production targets.
- Maintain accurate and legible records of all shipping and packaging activities.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Follow safety protocols and uphold company standards for a clean and organized work area.
- Perform manual handling of products, which includes lifting up to 50 lbs+ continuously and up to 65 lbs occasionally.
- Utilize mechanical tools such as power hand tools and wrenches to complete assembly tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals.
Required Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Physical ability to lift, handle, and manipulate items weighing up to 50 lbs or more.
- Effectiveness in using basic mechanical tools and measuring devices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing daily demands.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in manufacturing, shipping, or packaging roles.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes and documentation standards.
- Experience working with hand tools and measuring equipment.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred, especially in a production setting involving heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks.
- Experience with safety standards and protocols in industrial environments.
Other Requirements:
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential, with the ability to work scheduled hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including mandatory overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
- Ability to follow safety and quality policies diligently.
- Willingness to work extended hours and support overtime needs to meet production deadlines.
