JOB OVERVIEW: The Sales Manager leads and develops a growing team of Project Advisors selling residential exterior remodeling projects across our markets. Reporting directly to company leadership, this role drives sales performance, coaches team members in the field, strengthens accountability, and helps build a scalable sales organization capable of supporting continued company growth. The Sales Manager is part of a collaborative, agile team working collectively to fulfill our mission of saving our communities from unscrupulous contractors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & Development
o Manages, coaches, and develops a growing team of Project Advisors.
o Conducts coaching sessions, ride-alongs, field training, and team meetings.
o Helps recruit, onboard, and develop future sales leaders.
Performance & Accountability
o Establishes performance expectations and accountability around activity, sales results, customer experience, and professionalism.
o Builds and reinforces a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous development.
o Protects the customer experience while driving growth and performance.
Sales Process & Execution
o Ensures consistent execution of the company's sales process across the team.
o Partners with Marketing, Production, Customer Experience, Finance, and leadership teams.
Sales Management & Performance Tracking
o Monitors KPIs including lead issuance, appointments, close rates, revenue, financing, and cancellations.
o Creates forecasts, manages pipeline performance, and identifies sales improvement opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 5 years of residential home improvement sales experience, including at least 2 years managing and developing a sales team.
· Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, and residential exterior remodeling.
· Demonstrated success improving individual and team sales performance.
· Strong understanding of in-home residential sales and coaching sales professionals through the full sales process.
· Experience managing KPIs, forecasting, and sales pipelines.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
· Ability to spend multiple days per week in the field with Project Advisors.
· Ability to travel throughout the company's service area.
· Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets company policy.
· Experience scaling a sales organization, recruiting talent, and implementing repeatable sales processes preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Compensation- Base Salary: Competitive base salary.
