The Construction Project Manager will oversee commercial building projects from planning through completion, leading a typical team of 5–10 people. This role will manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, subcontractors, and client communications while traveling to project sites weekly. The position offers a growth path toward Project Executive.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate commercial building projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules to support timely delivery.
- Monitor budgets and control project costs.
- Administer contracts and support effective contract management.
- Coordinate subcontractors and collaborate with a 5–10-person project team.
- Communicate project status, needs, and updates with clients.
- Travel to project sites weekly to support project execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with construction scheduling and cost estimation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Procore.
- Knowledge of contract management, blueprint reading, and building codes.
- Experience with risk management, leadership, and communication.
