The Greer Group is hiring an experienced CNC Router Programmer/Operator for a commercial signage client in Raleigh! This is an immediate opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication and has experience programming and operating CNC routers.

What You’ll Do:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC routers to produce precision-cut materials for commercial signage.
- Create cut files and CNC programs based on individual job specifications.
- Use EnRoute to develop CNC programs and G-code for router operations.
- Set up tooling, align workpieces, and calibrate equipment for accurate production.
- Review work orders, drawings, and specifications to determine production requirements.
- Monitor finished pieces for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Prioritize jobs and manage production deadlines.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical, tooling, and programming issues.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
- Build and maintain a job library to streamline future programming and setup.
- Track materials and accurately charge materials to the appropriate jobs.
- Work closely with production team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Assist with other shop and production responsibilities as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of hands-on CNC router operation experience.
- Experience with CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.
- EnRoute experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Flexi or other CAD/CNC software is a plus.
- Knowledge of sign construction, materials, and fabrication processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and computer skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production specifications.
- Strong math skills, including measurements, fractions, ratios, proportions, and geometry.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to dimensional accuracy.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet production deadlines.
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical coursework or an Associate’s degree is a plus.
