MACHINE OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking severalMachine Operatorfor a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. In this role,you will crosstrainon various machinery within the facility to support production.This is afull-time, temp-to-hire position.
Payrate
$16.50per hour
Shifts and Schedules
Day shift:Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Afternoon Shift:Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Customerschedule is25-32 hours per week
Machine OperatorDuties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and set-up machinery and line daily prior to production.
- Check vacuum seal, cut off, fin seal and registration
- Metal detector checks, code date checks, documented every 15 minutes.
- Check code dates for the proper dates and reload ink film as needed
- Immediately report food safety and quality hazards to supervisors
Machine OperatorSkills and Qualifications
- Signoff and understand all GMP standards
- Lift up to 45lbs maximum (in office assessment will be conducted)
- Work in hot environments and lots or walking
- Prior production or food experience is a plus
- Background check and drug screen required
