Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to support warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for receiving, inventory management, warehousing, packaging, and shipping activities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within SAP and other company systems.
- Track and manage inventory movements and warehouse locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare, package, inspect, and ship completed orders according to company and customer requirements.
- Perform quality inspections on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Communicate professionally with carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
- Investigate and report discrepancies involving damaged, incorrect, or missing materials while coordinating with appropriate departments to resolve issues.
- Utilize SAP and other internal systems to support daily logistics operations.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve safety, organization, efficiency, and workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Assist with additional operational duties as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
Preferred
- Previous experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, or distribution operations.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP/inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to fumes and chemicals while following all safety protocols.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
