This role, Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver - supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and general organization of materials. The ideal candidate is

In addition to warehouse duties, this role will serve as a delivery driver for our Portland branch, transporting materials to job sites and customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (other duties may be assigned as required):

  • Delivery Driving -Safely operate a company 24-ft flatbed truck to deliver materials to job sites and customers on time, following all company policies and traffic laws.
  • Load Securement - Load, secure, and unload materials on the flatbed using proper safety and material-handling procedures.
  • Delivery Documentation - Complete delivery paperwork and tickets accurately and on time.
  • Work safely with all equipment you’re authorized to operate and use equipment and supplies responsibly to minimize waste
  • Customer Satisfaction -Ensure you provide a positive customer experience every time. This is our highest priority and the key to our success. Treat all customers with respect and provide top notch service to our customers.
  • Prepares work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, and part lists
  • Gathers tools, materials, and subassemblies required for production
  • Positions and assembles parts using templates, measurements, and tools
  • Examine connections and fasten parts to ensure proper fit and function
  • Assembles components quickly, accurately, and to approved specifications
  • Verifies completed work using measurements and inspection tools
  • Resolves minor assembly issues and alerts supervisor for additional support when needed
  • Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tools and equipment
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety standards
  • Manages material inventory by checking levels, restocking as necessary, and verifying deliveries
  • Use equipment and supplies responsibly to minimize waste
  • Documents production activities and completes quality control forms
  • Supports team efforts and contributes to meeting production goal

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must have at least 3+ years of driving experience
  • Clean Driving record
  • Comfortable operating a 24-ft flatbed truck

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School degree/GED or equivalent.

2+ years’ experience in general assembly work or specialized training.

Experience with power and hand tools is a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) within the organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Basic math and communication skills required.
