The Pet Wash is seeking a dependable, professional, and hardworking Part-Time Bather / Front Desk Associate. The ideal candidate enjoys working with dogs, provides excellent customer service, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility.
BATHING & PET CARE RESPONSIBILITIES
Bathe, brush, de-mat, dry, and care for dogs from start to finish.
Perform nail clipping, Dremel nail services, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
Provide approved add-on services for Self-Serve customers.
Monitor dogs throughout their visits and report concerns to management or pet guardians.
Follow all pet-handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
FRONT DESK & CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer phones professionally and courteously.
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
Check customers and dogs in and out.
Provide customer orientations and explain services, procedures, add-ons, policies, and charges.
Maintain accurate customer and appointment records.
Communicate professionally with pet guardians and deliver excellent customer service.
FACILITY & DAILY OPERATIONS
Wash, dry, and properly store towels.
Clean and organize bathing rooms, work areas, and storage areas.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility throughout the day.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies and merchandise.
Keep the facility stocked and ready for customers.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Must be an animal lover comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
Previous experience in dog bathing, grooming, kennel care, veterinary care, pet care, or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Friendly, professional, dependable, hardworking, and punctual.
Knowledge of proper dog handling, bathing, drying, brushing, and basic grooming services.
Ability to work independently, contribute positively to a team, and multitask in a busy environment.
Willingness to learn and follow established procedures and safety standards.
Weekend availability required.

- Assist with retail product recommendations and upselling grooming add-ons
Requirements:- Genuine love for animals and comfort handling pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Prior experience in pet grooming, bathing, or veterinary/kennel environments is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of pet bathing
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic computer skills and comfort with scheduling or POS systems
- Availability to work part-time hours including weekends
