A Day in the Role
At 7:00 AM, you’re in the driver’s seatliterally. You start by inspecting your forklift and scanning the morning’s queue. A truck is backed into the dock; you unload pallets, verify counts against paperwork, and stage materials neatly for production. Next, you receive and sort incoming goods, tagging and organizing them so they’re easy to find later. As orders come due, you build outbound shipments, double-check labels and documents, and move finished goods to the right lanes. Throughout the day, you shuttle materials between the warehouse and production floor, keep aisles clear, and jump into inventory counts. Before the 3:30 PM wrap-up, you tidy your area and make sure everything is safe and ready for the next shift.
