Job Title: Production WorkerJob Description

As a production worker, you will be responsible for the unloading of empty 55-gallon drums, weighing approximately 30-35 lbs each, from a trailer and placing them onto a conveyor line. The lids will follow a separate line. These drums will go through a series of mechanical washing stations before reaching the final shipping area, where they need to be stacked. Once the pallets are full, the shipping department will collect them.

Responsibilities
  • Unload empty 55-gallon drums from the trailer and set them onto a conveyor line.
  • Ensure lids are placed on a separate conveyor line.
  • Monitor drums as they go through mechanical washing stations.
  • Stack drums in the final shipping area and prepare pallets for pickup.
  • Perform quality checks on the products throughout the workday.
Essential Skills
  • General labor experience.
  • Factory work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of factory or production work experience.
  • Ability to stand throughout the entire workday.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs continuously.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large open-space factory that is warm and humid due to the washers and dryers in operation. Dress comfortably to accommodate the conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of NEW ULM, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
