MajorFunctionandScope:
- TroubleshootPLCs(ProgrammableLogicController)usinghandhelddeviceorlaptop.
- Designandredesignprogramandsoftware(PLCs,operatorpanels,etc).
- Formatharddrivesandinstalltothecomputers(ComputerSetup)andPCapplication.
- Installs,maintainsorrepairsequipmentforthegeneration,distributionorutilizationofelectricalenergyinamanufacturingenvironment.
- Locatesanddiagnosistroubleinelectricalsystemsorequipmentworkingfromblueprints,drawings,layoutsorotherspecifications.
- Worksstandardcomputationsrelatedtoloadrequirementsofwiringand/orelectricalequipment.
- KnowledgeofSerialportcommunicationsystems,VFDs(VariableFrequencyDrives)andprocesscontrolinstrumentationdevices(thermocouples, pressureswitches,etc).
- KnowledgeofServomotorsanddriveunits.
- Continuouslyreviewingtheirrespectiveareaforideasandthoughtsthatwilldriveproductivityandreducecostswithintheorganizationandbeabletoprofessionallyspeaktotheirsolutionforimprovement.
- Processimprovement(Planandsubmitprocessimprovementsandexecutetheplan).
- Usesavarietyofelectricianstoolsincludingmeasuringandtestinginstruments.

- Leadsprojectsandcompletesthemsuccessfully,returningequipmenttoproductionoperatingsafelyandefficiently.

ExperienceandKnowledgeRequired:
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalentexperience.Knowledgeofelectricalcode.
- Associatedegreeinindustrialelectronicspreferred.
- 4ormoreyearsindustrialmaintenanceexperienceand2yearsindustrialelectricalexperience.FormalPCLtrainingpreferred.
- Basiccomputerknowledge(MicrosoftOffice).
