SUMMARY: The Quality Control Inspector III is an advanced level mechanical inspector role. The primary function of the role is to inspect components and assemblies for dimensional, aesthetic and workmanship characteristics. Simultaneously, the Quality Control Inspector III will verify documentation is complete and accurate from internal and external suppliers. This team member will perform all mechanical inspection using CMM, micrometers, calipers height gages and hardness testing equipment and will log data as required. The Quality Contril Inspector III will interpret measuring results passing confirming product and will generate non-conformance documentation. Advanced GD&T is required in this role in order to be proficient at CMM programming and interpretation of results/setups. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
