IPG has supplied retail and e-commerce businesses with bags, boxes, tissue, mailers, and custom packaging for over 40 years. We are looking for an equipment operator to join our Print Room in Dallas. In this role you will set up, run, and maintain hot stamp / flexographic print equipment to produce custom printed packaging accurately and on schedule. You will report to the Print Room Foreman.

Your Responsibilities
- Follow job orders exactly, catch errors before they reach the customer, and correct them quickly
- Set up and adjust equipment for each run to meet job specifications
- Check print quality, placement, and color against the approved proof throughout the run
- Watch equipment during runs and report mechanical problems right away
- Start and complete jobs in line with the production schedule
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep
- Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage
- Follow all safety guidelines and keep your work area clean and organized
- Complete production logs and paperwork accurately
Your Shift
- Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm
- 1 hour for lunch
Pay
- $13 to $18 per hour, based on experience

You Must Have
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills, including reading a ruler and calculating print dimensions and placement
- Ability to learn the equipment and reach production and quality standards
- Ability to follow verbal and written work order instructions
- Professional communication
- Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Stand in one position for extended periods
- Operate machinery and handle packaging materials throughout the shift
- Move around the facility frequently
- Regularly lift, push, pull, or carry 25 pounds or more
We Would Also Prefer
- Prior experience in flexographic printing, hot stamping, or packaging production
- Ability to distinguish colors
