Title: Employment Litigation Associate

Location: Las Vegas, NV- Hybrid

Compensation: $165,000 - $225,000

Bar Admission: Nevada Bar Required

A well-established national law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its growing Las Vegas practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience who is looking for substantive case responsibility, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to further develop within labor and employment law.

Candidates with direct employment litigation experience are preferred, although attorneys coming from a broader commercial, civil, or defense litigation background will also be considered if they have strong litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in employment law.

The Role

The Associate will work on a range of employment-related disputes and counseling matters, representing employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies.

Responsibilities include:

· Drafting and responding to discovery, pleadings, and motions

· Taking and defending depositions

· Conducting legal research and developing case strategy

· Handling court appearances and arguing motions

· Defending employers in state and federal litigation

· Assisting with matters before agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB

· Advising clients on day-to-day employment law issues

· Drafting and revising employee handbooks, policies, and related materials

· Supporting client training and employment law compliance initiatives

· Working closely with experienced partners on complex employment matters

Ideal Candidate

· 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience

· Nevada Bar admission required

· JD from an ABA-accredited law school

· Employment litigation or labor & employment experience strongly preferred, attorneys with strong general litigation, commercial litigation, civil defense, or other relevant litigation experience are encouraged to apply

· Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and substantive motions

· Deposition experience strongly preferred

· Experience in state and federal court

· EEOC, NLRB, or other administrative agency experience is a plus
