Wire Processing Equipment Operator
Picture your day beginning on the production floor, reviewing a work order, and setting up the crimping, slitting, and cutting stations so every length of wire meets exact customer specifications. You’ll keep materials flowing, verify measurements, and make sure each finished coil or cut length is ready to shipall while prioritizing safety and quality.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor crimping, slitting, and cutting machines to meet production goals.
- Interpret customer specifications and work orders; measure and cut wire accordingly.
- Set up equipment for production runs, including adjustments and basic changeovers.
- Inspect in-process and finished wire to confirm it matches order requirements.
- Handle, stage, and move materials throughout the production area.
- Safely lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Follow established safety procedures and plant guidelines at all times.
