Are you the pipe systems expert who loves to teach?

Imagine translating your shipyard pipefitting expertise into high-impact learning that equips field support teams and customers to perform at their best. In this role, you’ll craft end-to-end trainingplanning, building, delivering, and continuously improving courses that keep pace with evolving requirements and technical advances.

What you will do
  • Design in-house training programs from concept to delivery, choosing methods that fit the audience and objectives.
  • Create lesson plans, participant guides, and training aids; coordinate development of visuals and tools.
  • Lead classroom and practical sessions; when needed, bring in technical trainers with deep subject expertise.
  • Develop evaluation criteria to measure learning outcomes and drive course refinements.
  • Regularly update content to reflect new standards and the most current technical information.
Your background
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; OR Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience.

One of the following may be used as an equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

  • Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2-year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience, or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience, or other relevant non-exempt experience
