Facilities & Grounds Manager

The Facilities & Grounds Manager is responsible for day-to-day functions of all aspects in and around the business: Fire, life safety, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, parking lot and grounds, generators, UPS systems, leak detection system, janitorial, and maintenance service and repair of these. First call for any and all emergencies pertaining to these systems, security for the building and data center issues. Must be able to prioritize and be willing to work off-hours, rain, snow or shine. Responsible for the DHI kitchen and staff (of 3) who provide food services for employees. Responsible for snow removal and the safety of getting employees and visitors in and out of the building safely. Responsible for trash and recycling services, lawn mowing and landscape services. Helping employees move offices, move furniture, semi-annual carpet and window cleaning. Responsible for gym, racquetball court and breakroom equipment repair and supplies as well as soft water repairs and services. Responsible for contractors and vendors who service the equipment and systems and to provide an escort for them while they are in the building providing services. Need to understand blueprints, fire and electrical codes, OSHA and ADA compliance requirements to assure and keep the buildings safe, secure and within legal limitations. Must be able to lift, climb, sit, stand, kneel, carry heavy objects, move freely, and be okay in confined spaces and heights. Will accept someone with desire to learn, commitment to customer satisfaction and a willingness to excel. Needs to be a high school graduate. Salaried position from 70,000 to 90,000 per year.
