You’ll be the conductor who synchronizes design, manufacturing, and quality, ensuring precision-stamped components launch on time, on budget, and to spec. You’ll validate designs, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and keep the Vice President of Engineering informed so decisions happen quickly and projects stay on track.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects for stamped products and processes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work (design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to meet technical, schedule, and cost targets.
  • Support production teams on the floor with hands-on problem-solving, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Apply and uphold safety procedures, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Plan workflows, track milestones, and manage customer requirements to hit deliverables.
  • Own testing, validation, and continuous process improvement activities.
  • Onboard and train team members on methods, documentation, and project tasks.
  • Identify risks, communicate delays or changes, and recommend course corrections.
  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and CI initiatives to eliminate waste and improve yield.
  • Maintain strong, proactive communication with the Vice President of Engineering and partner departments.
  • Model professionalism, technical rigor, and practical problem-solving.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed to support engineering and production goals.
What You Bring

  • 8–10 years in an engineering or manufacturing environment (required).
  • Proven experience in a stamping manufacturing setting (required).
  • Demonstrated project leadership with measurable results.
  • Fluency in engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
  • Skilled at reading drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with CAD, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Clear communication and strong analytical, problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on work when needed.
Work Conditions
  • Environment: Manufacturing floor; exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and variable temperatures.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, bending; occasional lifting of materials/equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; flexibility for extended hours or weekends to meet production needs.
  • Travel: Minimal; primarily for training or coordination across facilities.
