Work Arrangement : Onsite

Job Summary

Seeking a Production Assembly professional to perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive manufacturing and production assembly tasks. The role involves working from visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions to assemble, inspect, modify, rework, and test products and components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform production assembly operations using established manufacturing procedures and instructions.
  • Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Set up initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products and components.
  • Perform continuity checks on work-in-process and completed products.
  • Conduct quality inspections on the processing line according to established quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies when required.
  • Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or abnormalities.
  • Follow established operational procedures and manufacturing processes.
  • Support manufacturing operations including assembly, processing, packaging, and other production activities.
  • May support shipping, receiving, inventory control, or product storage activities.
  • Identify and communicate problems or concerns within the assigned work area.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to new or entry-level employees when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ year of related manufacturing or production experience.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems, and tools.
  • Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, visual aids, and written/verbal instructions.
  • Ability to perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks accurately.
  • Experience using manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Ability to perform quality checks and identify abnormalities or defects.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision and follow established procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams.
  • Ability to provide assistance and guidance to new or entry-level employees.
  • No minimum education requirement.

Work Environment

  • Onsite manufacturing environment.
  • 2nd Shift position.
  • 1st Shift training may be required.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Contract-only position.
