Job Title: Quality Control SpecialistJob Description

The Quality Control Specialist inspects, tests, and evaluates materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, maintains customer satisfaction through consistent quality assurance practices, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and optimize processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Document and report quality issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions in a clear and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to investigate and resolve quality-related problems.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and verify testing equipment and tools in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating quality control procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections by preparing documentation, records, and evidence of compliance.
  • Analyze quality data, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Adapt to evolving quality standards, methodologies, and customer requirements, and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
Essential Skills
  • 02 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies, including ISO standards, Six Sigma, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Proficiency in inspection tools and measurement techniques used for material, component, and product evaluation.
  • Experience working with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing inspections, tests, and data analysis.
  • Analytical skills to interpret quality data, identify trends, and support root cause analysis.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address non-conformances and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively within cross-functional teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality engineering concepts and practices.
  • Experience using a variety of inspection tools and equipment in a production or laboratory environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities.
  • Interest in continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
Work Environment

The Quality Control Specialist typically works in a production, laboratory, or manufacturing environment that requires regular interaction with production, engineering, and supply chain teams. The role involves frequent use of inspection tools, measurement devices, and testing equipment that must be properly maintained and calibrated. Work may include standing for extended periods during inspections, working at benches or testing stations, and handling materials and components with care to ensure accurate measurements. The position generally follows standard business hours, with potential adjustments based on production schedules and audit or inspection needs. Appropriate attire and adherence to site-specific safety and quality protocols are required in all work areas.

This is a Contract position based out of Bothell, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
