Kitchen Duties (Cook Shift):
Prepare ingredients, cook menu items according to recipe standards, and ensure consistent presentation.
Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, fryers, prep stations) and follow portion control guidelines.
Maintain strict food safety and sanitization standards, including proper temperature monitoring and stock rotation (FIFO).
Keep prep stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
Front-of-House Duties (Server Shift):
Greet guests warmly, take accurate food/beverage orders, and enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Serve food and drinks promptly while anticipating guest needs and addressing any special requests.
Process guest payments (cash, credit cards) accurately and maintain register balance.
Clear, sanitize, and reset tables to maintain an inviting dining atmosphere.
General Operational Expectations:
Maintain flexibility to cover either cooking or serving shifts as scheduled (mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays).
Assist with open/close procedures, inventory stocking, and overall facility cleanliness.
Maintain positive communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow.
Prior experience as a Cook, Server, Prep Cook, or in a cross-functional food service role preferred.
Current Food Handler Certification / ServSafe (or willingness to complete upon hire).
Ability to learn and operate POS systems and basic kitchen equipment.
Strong multitasking abilities with a calm, effective approach during high-volume peak hours.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts based on scheduling needs.
Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 35–50 lbs throughout a shift.
